Pork Chops Two Ways, Pork Tenderloin, and More!
Today, we are sharing three pork recipes that are perfect for dinner this week.
We've got pork chops two ways (fried and smoked) and a tasty sous vide pork tenderloin recipe. A little something for everybody.
Let’s eat!
-Marrekus and Krysten
Deep Fried Pork Chops
These fried pork chops are golden, crispy perfection. They take me back to my childhood, when my Granna used to whip hers up. And between you and me, I prefer these chops over fried chicken and country fried steak.
We used this same recipe to make pork chop sandwiches topped with mustard, mayo, tomato, and onion. Marrekus says to serve ‘em in wax paper, topped with hot sauce. A bit of nostalgia from his Memphis childhood.
Smoked Pork Chops
Marrekus used a method called reverse sear to make these smoked pork chops.
Reverse sear means smoking (or cooking in the oven) followed by searing in a hot pan on the stovetop.
If you don’t have a smoker you can set up a charcoal grill for indirect cooking and add smoker wood to the coals, then follow the same instructions for cooking. Feel free to drop a comment if you have questions.
Sous Vide Pork Tenderloin
This sous vide pork tenderloin is perfectly tender and juicy with a flavorful golden crust.
I love it because it’s the easiest “set it and forget it” dish. Just toss it in the water bath, let the magic happen, then finish it off with a quick pan-sear for that perfect golden crust.
Pair it with whatever quick veggies you have on hand for a complete meal.
